When it comes to laughs there is nothing better than an Irish actor who is in some of the comedy films which have been on the blockbuster movies hit list. Being Irish itself is enough of an attraction as many English and American’s like a nice Irish accent however Jonathan Rhys Meyers is one Irish actor that has plenty of good looks to go around too. Still young and talented with a great looking profile this actor is going to get plenty of action when it comes to movie roles if he can prove himself to be worthy of the task. Acting is not as easy a job as most people would think that it is which is why we constantly see the same people playing all of the top hit movie characters.

Like many of the good looking actors Jonathan is also a model for different companies so that he can endorse products and sells them. Hugo Boss was one of the biggest names that Jonathan helped out simply by being already famous from his films. It is good luck for these companies to him actors as their models so that when they do well in movies they also sell more products. This has been proven in sales of the steady increase in product sales if celebrities endorse their products. For instance if Lindsey Lohan promoted something it may not sell as well as if Morgan Freeman tried selling it.

Jonathan played the character Joe in the movie Bend it like Beckham which was a next to lead role who ended up the boyfriend of the lead character. He then played a role in the movie I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead which a comedy was made in 2003. A Showtime TV show was the Lion in Winter where Jonathan played the role of King Phillip the 2nd. Being a fair skinned dark haired lad he plays the part of a bad guy very well in Mission Impossible 3. Jonathan did win a few awards for best actor in the Elvis Presley movie which he played Elvis. Not only did he receive a Golden Globe for his efforts but he also was awarded a Satellite award. This year in 2010 we will see him in the movie called From Paris With Love which is going to be a real block buster.
